ATTORNEY
The Last Thursday of Every Month Sign up at the front desk for one on one legal advice from Glenn Witecki from Witecki Law Office.
BLOOD PRESSURE CLINIC
A volunteer nurse will take and track your blood pressure in confidence for you. 2nd Wednesday of every month from 1:30-2:30 p.m. except March and August when this and other services are offered at our Semi-Annual Health Screening. No need to sign up.
CARE LINKS PROGRAM
Community volunteers, of all ages, coming from local congregations, the senior center, and the community at large, are matched with persons 50 and older to provide supportive services such as friendly visiting, transportation, respite assistance, shopping and errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, handy-helping and telephone assurance. Information and referrals are also available. Volunteers are always welcome. Call Lois Bourke, Care Links Program Director, at 371-5179 for assistance or to volunteer.
FINANCIAL CONSULTANT
Chuck Chera, a Center Board member with 42 years experince infinancial planning, volunteers his services to provide general, financial analysis to help individuals make their own decisions regarding their financial future. 1st Thursday of the month 9–11 a.m. and other times, by appointment.
HOME DELIVERED MEALS
If you are homebound and over 60, Home Delivered Meals are available by calling the Saratoga County Office for the Aging at 884-4100. Friendly volunteers will deliver your nutritious hot and cold meal to your door. The suggested contribution is $2 per meal.
INTERGENERATIONAL TUTORING PROGRAM
The Intergenerational Tutoring Program brings together scientists, engineers and teachers to assistant area high school students in math and science. Tutoring takes place during the school year every Tuesday and Thursday evening, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, at the Shenendehowa High School East Building Room 101. No appointments are necessary and there is no charge. Contact Dr. Patricia Mackenzie for more information or to volunteer.
