On January 21, 2010 the Center welcomed Beth Bidwell, the Executive Director of The Wildlife Institute of Eastern New York and her Birds of Prey.....owls, hawks and falcons. It was an exciting exhibit where we learned around the special adaptations that put these animals at the top of the food chain. All of the birds had been rescued from life-threatening injuries and can no longer live in the wild. But they are certainly not pets. They are still predatory animals. Beth and her program certainly gave us some insight into these beautiful animals and the role they play in nature. CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
